Excellent work, highly recommend!

David Mares and his team are exceptional builders and masons. They tore down our brick front porch steps that were falling apart and started over. The new brick steps are really nice. David suggested a herringbone brick design as a centerpiece on top of two of the main steps. We love how it turned out. David showed up every day and it only took about two weeks or so to complete. David and his team did a tremendous amount of work. The price was very reasonable. We highly recommend David and his team.

Mares Masonry LLC did an awesome job on our masonry repairs. They rebuilt a section of our brick wall that had started to crumble and matched the existing brickwork perfectly. The boys worked efficiently, kept things tidy, and explained everything in a straightforward way. Proper quality workmanship.

To say we feel fortunate is an understatement. Our 1928 home had a decorative rock wall extending off a corner that had completely failed. Additionally there were foundation issues and concrete steps to replace. To complicate the situation, the grout method for the brick is a weeping form not common in this region. Frankly this was not an easy job. Mares was professional, communicative, tenacious and care taking. The end result was amazing. It matched our hopes and exceeded expectations. David was so thorough, he added French drains to ensure water penetration would not be an issue. Weather conditions were not ideal and the project went well beyond schedule, yet he refrained from taking shortcuts. Genuinely impressed and grateful. This company will be invited back for future projects and can highly recommend.
